DRESS RULES

Players are expected to adhere to a relaxed, sensible dress code. The only hard and fast rules are:

  • Clothing must be neat, clean, not torn or overly frayed, not excessively revealing (e.g. singlet tops) and not bear offensive slogans;
  • Players must wear suitable sports footwear (i.e. no high heels, exaggerated treads, or thongs);

Ultimately, the club reserves the right to refuse access to anyone deemed not to be respecting this dress code.

COURSE ETIQUETTE

Acceptable golf behaviour is expected on the course and in the clubhouse from members and social players. Course etiquette should be important to all members and the following elements are indicative of the requirements of this club:

  • Practice quick safe play at every opportunity
  • If you fall behind the group in front, ask the following group to play through
  • If in doubt play a provisional ball
  • Walk briskly to your shots and be ready to play when you reach your ball
  • Be ready to putt immediately your turn comes.  Putt out when possible
  • Leave the green quickly after putting
  • Mark cards on the next tee while other players in the group are hitting off
  • Carry a sand bucket and fill-in all divots
  • Repair plug marks on greens
  • Rake bunkers properly and leave the rake in the centre of the bunker
  • Shouting, bad language and club throwing is not acceptable
